"what? ME talk to a counselor or shrink?"

Sometimes, we can all use a little expert help in getting through a tough situation. We have said this a lot, but it's really important -- it's Ok to ask for help. Think of using a counselor or psychologist like using a coach to learn how to improve with sports. It is not a sign of weakness, and they might have really useful information about how to get through the hard times.

"am I the only one going through this?"

You’d be surprised, but it’s quite possible that there are other people at your school with health issues. There are lots of teens around the country living with cancer, just like you. Use Group Loop to talk 2 teens with cancer. Sometimes, talking to someone going through a similar experience can be really helpful. That’s what Group Loop is all about: connecting teens who are going through similar life experiences because of cancer, and helping each other through the difficult times.
